Official Start of SUMMER is the official Start of SUNSCREEN

June 3, 2009 at 1:26 am

Do you know the difference between UVA and UVB?

UVA rays rapidly increase “AGING” of the skin while UVB rays are responsible for “BURNING”

pengtravelbrochure2002When should I wear sunscreen?

You want to be sure to wear sunscreen all year long. If you want to be a hot mom or grandma, and keep that young looking skin, wear SPF 30 DAILY.  UVA rays are always present, they are aging your skin when its cloudy, raining, and sunny! So dont be to cute, slap on the Sunscreen and call it a beautiful youthful day!!

Who should wear sunscreen?

Anyone who will be in the sun for more than 10 minutes a day.

This is how I calculate my sun exposure time (S.E.T)

2 minutes walking to car, 1 minute walking to store, 1 min walking from store to car, 2 minutes from car to work building, etc…You get the point!!

Why would anyone wear sunscreen?

To minimize the risk of skin cancer and most importantly to be flirty at 40, fabulous at 50, sexy at 60!!!

Im to cool for all that?

Get over yourself! If you lan to live past the age of 35, you REALLY NEED TO SLAP IT ON!! OR ELSE!!!!SKIN DAMAGE

Summer Skin Care tip!

May 21, 2009 at 9:54 pm

Many people ask me skin care secrets and tips and its the same thing , I only have 2 words of advice..

1. SUNSCREEN- I personally use sunscreen 365 days a year! SPF OF 50. But if im going to be out longer than 45 min to 1 hour I REACH FOR MY SPF 80. Dont hate I just haven’t made it to the store for the SPF 100 YET!LOL

Maybe you can get a way with a 30 but i try to stay a step ahead!

2. MOISTURE- Always add moisture to your skin!
